Can you offer Family coverage

I’m a 53 year old, male, healthcare practitioner, here in the US and I am thinking of moving back to the Philippines to open some Sleep Disorders Center. My wife and children are already in the Philippines. My wife is 46 and my kids are 21, 12 and 11 years old. What are our options with regard to obtaining coverage? When obtaining an expatriate family health insurance policy you will normally have the option to choose the plan’s area of geographical coverage. In this instance it may be wise to think about the permanence of your relocation to the Philippines. If you will be spending less than 6 months of the year in the United States it may be wise to consider obtaining a plan that excludes the USA for the coverage area. If you elect to purchase a plan that includes coverage inside America then the policy premium may be increased.

It is important to note that while choosing a policy that excludes coverage in the US will deny you from receiving elective treatment in the country, in many cases an international health insurance plan may still cover you for accidents and emergencies while you are outside of the coverage area. It is imperative that you weigh all the options and obtain unbiased advice prior to enrolling on a plan, as your decisions can have long term consequences.
