Can you offer international insurance for diabetes type 1

Question: 
We are US citizens who want to move to Mexico or Ecuador, preferably, but my husband is diabetic and I think he cannot qualify (even w/ residency) for the national health plans in those 2 countries. Are there other S or Central Amer countries w/ national health plans that would accept him, at a reasonable rate? Waiting periods? Medications? Or, is there private insurance for him? We would not need insur that traveled w/ us to the US, but just in the new country.

in touch. We are unfortunately not able to sell localised or domestic policies
in South & Central America, however, there are international insurance
plans which do offer cover pre-existing medical conditions.

International insurers will evaluate the
medical history of the new applicant through a medical questionnaire and base
coverage according to the specific case. Some insurers may decline cover, but
as we work with over 30 insurers we are able to provide a plan to meet your
requirements.

Once the terms of cover have been
issued, there are generally no waiting periods for treatment related to the
medical condition, whether that be inpatient hospitalisation or outpatient
medications – although each insurer does have their own policy terms &
conditions.
