Brazil

Brazil’s digital nomad visa allows holders to stay in Brazil for up to one year, with a one-year renewable option. Applicants must submit a statement attesting their ability to carry out their professional activities remotely and an employment contract with a monthly income of no less than USD 1,500.

Costa Rica

Croatia

Greece’s digital nomad visa allows nomads to stay in the country for up to one year, with a one-year renewal option. Nomads must have a minimum income of EUR 3,500/month (EUR 4,200/month when accompanied by a spouse and EUR 4,830/month when accompanied by a spouse and one dependent).

Hungary

Hungary’s digital nomad visa or ‘white card’ allows holders to live in Hungary for one year and renewable for another year. Holders must have net income of no less than EUR 3,000/month for 6 months preceding the entry, and the income must be maintained for the duration of their stay.

Malta

Malta’s Nomad Residence Permit allows holders to work remotely for employment based in another country while residing in Malta. The permit is valid up to a year with possible renewal as long as the applicant still meets the eligibility criteria.

Mexico

Although not a digital nomad visa per se, Mexico’s temporary resident permit allows digital nomads to live in the country from 6 months to 4 years. Applicants will have to submit a proof of economic solvency, either proof of bank accounts or monthly income, upon applying for the permit.

Spain

Spain’s digital nomad visa allows holders to stay in Spain and work remotely for an employer outside of Spain for up to one year in the first instance and can be renewed for up to five years. Applicants must have a university degree or at least three years of work experience to apply for this visa.
